  My previous definition of success meant... kernel load and
started. My ramdisk root isn't happy though. I've tried both
rdsetroot and mdsetimage.

  I'm suspicious about the md0 --- not configured, then it goes ahead
and uses it, and it mounts, but it comes up empty or something.
