I wanted to thank everyone who helped me to get my sun 3/60 running
(Netbooting from a FreeBSD box) I just compiled a current kernel (1.2beta)
and it seems much more stable than the 1.1 kernel from the CDROM. Added
some more RAM (now 12M) - that seemed to help too. Neat to have a "new"
BSD OS plus X11R6 on that old box.

I would like to improve the NFS performance if possible, I seem to get
only about 30K bytes per second transfer rate over NFS to a fairly fast
server. I have a Vaxstation 3100 that gets much better NFS performance
(maybe 10 times as fast!) so it seems to be not just a question of
mippage...

Is there any way to improve this?
(I mean other than a faster machine)

Thanks again.
