Please, help me!

Are there any clues for improving my Sun 3/60 HD performance?
It is below 100kb/s!!

The configuration is as follows:
	Sun 3/60 -- 16Mb RAM, cg4 frame
	HD Micropolis model 4110, 1Gb.
	NetBSD 1.1 (1.2 soon, I hope)

Please, I need at least the space in this HD for NFS sharing of
mail boxes.  I checked Sun3 HW FAQ and found nothing related to
low performance.

I disklabeled it by hand, setting frag size to 1024 bytes and
block size to 8192.  The swap space is 32Mb.
