If anyone needs a true type-3 mouse pad, I have a few of them, along with 
some other sun 3 stuff for sale.  Email me for details.

To add my two cents to the whole mouse pad discussion, I have personally 
seen a type 4 mouse that would not work with one of the optical mouse 
pads from a type 5 mouse.  And I've seen 3 other types of Sun mouse pads.
