After getting my 1.1 boot and install tapes in the mail today, I sat down
and attempted.
(BTW, thanks, Gordon, for the tapes!)  However . . . 

Does 1.1 require that you have a FPU in the 3/50?  At the point where I
should get a
prompt so I can partition the drive, etc, I get a "pid 3 killed: no fp
support", or something
to that effect.  At boot time, it shows "fp0: (emulator)".

help!  I need to get this machine up and running ASAP so I can use it at work...
