You can start up X this way:
% xinit -- Xsun -fp /usr/X11R6/lib/fonts/misc,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi"

Most sun3 screens are 75dpi so I wouldn't bother with the 100dpi fonts.
