Hello all,

I am currently executing the motions, that once started, and
completely completed, could possibly be construed as doing that which in
turn will render, in machine readable format, something identified as a
kernel.....(Oh, you get the idea already!)

I decided I was having SO much fun with the libc, that I'd
switch to the kernel for a bit. I did my little "make install" in the
/src/include tree and decided to read :
# $Id: BUILDING,v 1.3 1994/12/30 04:30:47 gwr Exp $ -*- text -*-

So, I :
1) cd src/sys/arch/sun3/conf

and then

cp GENERIC ICHABOD

and

3) config.new ICHABOD

to which I was told that it was missing some files ending in .newconf .
Ok, I can deal with it. I copied the "files.*" to "files.*.newconf" in the
3 directories (current, m68k and 1 more I forget) until it just finally
said :

files.sun3.newconf:158: syntax error

I looked , and starting at line 157 to 159 it reads :

# SunOS Binary Compatibility (COMPAT_SUNOS)
include "../../../compat/sunos/files.sunos"
file arch/m68k/m68k/sunos_machdep.c compat_sunos

The file does exist, and man pages don't help a heck of a lot.

What did I blow this time?

				Thanks, Scott
