netbsd-5, xorg

I have an Ultra 5, and I just updated to 5.0_RC2 from 4.0_STABLE and
have a few questions; sorry if this is a faq.

First, I have /etc/{ttys,gettytab,wscons.conf} all matching the release.
Thus there is a getty on /dev/console, and not on ttyE[0123], although
/dev/console and ttyE0 seem linked:

  root 3238 0.0 0.3 64 1296 ttyE0 Is+ 1:23PM 0:00.03
/usr/libexec/getty suncons console

The generated xorg config file runs at 800x600; I imagine I need to tell
it about the monitor, and this trouble is the same as on i386 hardware.

The mouse seemed to work, but not the keyboard. Should the xorg config
file be specifying a wsmux?

kbd0 at com0 (console input)
ms0 at com1
wsmouse0 at ms0 mux 0
wsmux1: connecting to wsdisplay0
wsdisplay0 at machfb0 kbdmux 1: console (default, sun emulation)
wskbd0 at kbd0: console keyboard, using wsdisplay0

I can put up my xorg config and log if that's helpful.

Or, if someone has a baked config for an Ultra5 with

machfb0 at pci1 dev 2 function 0output-device: screen
: ATI Technologies 3D Rage Pro (rev. 0x5c)
machfb0: 16 MB aperture at 0xe1000000, 4 KB registers at 0xe2000000
machfb0: 4096 KB SGRAM 98.924 MHz, maximum RAMDAC clock 230 MHz
mach64_get_mode: 1280 5440 5552 1688 1024 1025 1060 1066
machfb0: initial resolution 1280x1024 at 8 bpp
machfb0: attached to /dev/fb0
wsdisplay0 at machfb0 kbdmux 1: console (default, sun emulation)
wsmux1: connecting to wsdisplay0
wsdisplay0: screen 1-3 added (default, sun emulation)

i'd appreciate it.
