Hello,

NetBSD/sparc supports X11, but not XFree86. The things you're missing
belong to XFree86. With some work you can run XFree86 on 32bit SPARCs,
but it's not official and doesn't support all hardware. What you'd need
is a kernel with wscons support ( on sparc that's pretty much limited to
cg6 and p9100 framebuffers ) and a slightly hacked xsrc ( I'm running it
on my SPARCbook )

In case you want to run XFree86 in a 32bit userland on sparc64 hardware
things may be easier ( or trickier, I've never tried that ) - compiling
XFree86 natively, via make World, may be the easiest way to get there.

have fun
Michael
