Has anyone been able to pull a firmware image off of an open firmwared ad=

AHA-2940 card?

I recently acquired a Sun Ultra 5 and am trying to use an Adaptec AHA-294=

(power domain version, pulled out of an old beige G3 mac, with the 1mb fl=

ram) with the Ultra 5.  I was clued into this mailing list from a forum o=

Sun's website, and read in the archives of this mailing list over the pas=

month about people trying to get the firmware from an openfirmwared card =

flash into an AHA-2940.  =


Has anyone been able to do this?  =


I know others have tried to flash a PC AHA-2940 with the mac firmware and=

haven't been able to get it to work with an ultrasparc, however I can att=
est
to an actual power domain AHA-2940 not working on an ultrasparc.  My
ultrasparc recognizes it as a PCI device but not a scsi host adaptor.
