Hmm... I've thought about that but it does not really solve the problem. 
Kernel should not crash with multithreaded applications or any other 
applications, if it does then there is something wrong and needs fixing. 
I don't have the expertise to debug such problems, so I'll leave it to 
others, in the mean time I think I'll stick to Solaris.
