   You can't. The *hardware* is buggy.

how so?  i've used it successfully from the prom or from solaris on
both U1 and U10 machines.

i've always planned to port our sparc fd.c to the two new fd types
("fd,two" and "fdthree"?? i forget now.) but haven't gotten around
to it ....
