More than two weeks? ;-} (Or when was gcc 3.3 released?)

Anyway - there is no concrete date nor a final plan, but it will happen "soon".

On a side note: it would be good if people noticing pkgs that do not compile
or do not work on sparc64 in 64 bit mode would file PRs for this (in the
pkg category, of course). Please include instructions that make it possible
for people not used to that pkg to reproduce the problem.

There are some pkgs out there (like Mozilla) that just have no chance of
compiling with the current compiler, but there are lots of others only
needing minor tweaks.
