Side note: as Jonathan noted, we are about to purge %g7 usage from kernel
assembler sources (for the "standard" registers set) and use it as curcpu
But mixing changes for both purposes in one commit is not considered good
style. So make this change minimal, and we'll get back at the %g7 usage
