| I would like to recycle an Sun Ultra 2 box to *BSD.
| The hardware is maybe a little 'special'; see below the
| output of the boot PROM:
| Sun Ultra 2 UPA/SBus (2 x Ultra SPARC 168 MHz)
| 256 MB memory
| The commercial model is "Sun MediaCenter", so it is not
| a classic Ultra 2.
|
| Does NetBSD can run on this machine using 1 or 2 CPU?
| If not, anyone can advise me on another OS (not Solaris)?

As far as I remember the MediaCenter machines were just
Ultra 2s with a custom tuned kernel and some special SCSI
hardware. I think -current will probably work, if the
SCSI hardware isn't too special.
