A nit: devel/cpuflags appears to recognize gcc 4.5, and inserts a
"-march=native" option that the sparc gcc 4.5 rejects:

% gcc -E -march=native - < /dev/null
cc1: error: unrecognized command line option "-march=native"
# 1 "<stdin>"
% gcc --version
gcc (NetBSD nb2 20110806) 4.5.3
