No, I got an SS5 and an S24 a while ago and added wscons and accelerated X support for it. I do not have an actual tcx though, do they even exist as AFX cards or are they SS4 onboard only? The kernel driver runs in 8bit colour and should Just Work on a tcx, the X driver hasn't been well tested in 8bit.
