	It's not Hypersparc specific. With two SM71-1, kernel hangs and opens 
internal debugger :

CPU1: data fault: pc=0xf000ab3c addr=0x80 
sfsr=0x1a6<PERR=0x0,LVL=0x1,AT=0x5,FT=0x1,FAV,OW>
xcall(cpu0,0xf000ab20): couldn't ping cpus: cpu1
panic: kernel fault

        After panic, keyboard is locked and I cannot obtain more informations.
