Hello,

I just got modular xorg 7.0 to work on my sparcbook - there wasn't much
hacking required, just building time... a tarball with binaries will
appear on
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/misc/macallan/sparc/
xorg_7_0_sparc.tar.bz2
It does not contain my changes to the suncg6 driver yet ( that means no
acceleration ) but it does contain the pnozz driver ( in fact that's
the only one I tested ) and all the rest. No idea if sunffb will work
on sparc, it's in there but untested.
Caveats ( so far ):
- - Xorg -configure won't write a working keyboard configuration - add
Options "Protocol" "wskbd"
Options "Device" "/dev/wskbd"
manually.
- - some tools aren't included - some didn't build, others ( like xterm )
are no longer included in the source distribution
- - it needs a wscons kernel

have fun
Michael
