I've tried to make a bootable CD with NetBSD 3.0/sparc install sets and a
bunch of useful packages. Please test, and let me know if
* the CD boots at all
* NetBSD can be installed from it
* the packages can be installed
* I should add any other packages to the final version of this CD
The CD is available at:

Essential NetBSD 3.0/sparc Binary Packages + Install CD
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What is it?
The 3rd party software team of the NetBSD Project is proud to be able to
provide a CD with the installation files for NetBSD 3.0/sparc and a
collection of essential precompiled binary packages NetBSD 3.0/sparc.
The packages on this CD are based on the pkgsrc-2005Q4 branch.
The CD is bootable and contains all the install files for
the NetBSD 3.0/sparc. To install binary packages from the CD,
mount it under (say) /cdrom, then run:
# PKG_PATH=/cdrom/packages/sparc/All
# export PKG_PATH
# pkg_add -v bash
# pkg_add -v kde
