If you have a CDROM drive handy just boot a sufficiently old Solaris CD
( newer Solaris may want more RAM than the SS5 has, Solaris 10 may not
boot at all, they dropped sun4m support if I remember correctly ) - the
installer will let you drop to a shell from where you can mount the HD
and mess with the password files. It /should/ work with a NetBSD CD
too but newer Solaris filesystems and NetBSD don't seem to play well
together ( I have Solaris 9 and NetBSD -current on an Ultra 1 - trying
to mount the Solaris stuff deadlocked last time I tried, on the other
hand I remember using Solaris 2.6 filesystems from NetBSD without
problems ).
