I'm not sure I understand properly your question. Do you mean,
run 1.6.1 binaries on a 1.6.2 base system, or use the pkgsrc shipped with
1.6.2, with already-installed binaries from packages/1.6.1 ?

In the first case there should be no problems, in the second, you may have
to update some installed packages.
