Here in the US, at least in Colorado, it costs $30 to get rid of a dead
computer. Companies tend to send everything to recyclers.

I ran across stripped LX boxes for $5 each last year. Never did get one of them
working, I did install NetBSD on one, but the MMU died after about two days.
Same place had some 5's and 10's, but they were stripped as well.

I refuse to do business with ebay/paypal.
