Umh, well -- I'm connected via ADSL-Flat, but since this is still
kinda dialup I get a new IP-Address every couple of days. And,
certainly, this IP is registered to my ISP (the German Hamburg-only
ISP "HanseNet").

I'm sending mail running my own MTA behind my NATing gateway directly
via SMTP. Therefore, evey outbound mail coming from my network appears
to be coming from "chroam.de" but the sending machine has an IP that
does not belong to chroam.de.

Some IPS' MTAs (e.g. AOL) reject such mails.

Unfortunately, there is not much I can do about this, except using a
smarthost. I'll have to figure out someday whether HanseNet provides
such a thing and what its Address is.

cheers,
