I found a company in San Diego that makes what seems to
be just the dongle I am looking for... i.e., a box that would go
off the Sun hd50 and output diff wide scsi-2.  The company is
Paralan.  I sent them an email, and maybe something will turn
up.  Someone also mentioned that I might be able to use a 
Sun DWIS/S  (370-1704) or UDWIS/S  (370-2443) board.
Anyone have a spare of either of those boards that I could
buy for not so much as to break the glass piggybank?
It's worth a try.  The drive trays are just the size of a pizzabox,
and could sit nicely under the machine, if I could make them
work.
