I have some sca drives from suns that I want to low-level
format on my VAX. I am needing an adapter to go from
sca to VAX 50 pin dip scsi1 cabling. CAN the sun sca
bus board be used as that adapter, i.e., is that 50 pin
hda connector a straight scsi connection or is it some
sun-strange thingy. IFF that is a straight scsi hd50
connection, the I should be able to route that, via an
internal hd50 ribbon cable and hd50-centronics adapter
and make a VAX sca plugin. Any know for sure what
that pinout is on the hd50 end of that sun sca bus
board?
The board number in question is 501-2462 as used in
the SS5 machines.
Thanks
