Just FYI, I've got what sounds like the exact same system (though I 
traded the 10/100 card for a quad port 10) and it runs like a charm. 
Started with Solaris on the system just 'cuz that's what was on it when 
it arrived.  Quickly replaced that with NetBSD and it's quite a 
workhorse.
