It turns out, that -j3 hided another error.
I.E.: lib/libcrypto/../../crypto/dist/openssl/crypto/objects/obj_dat.h was broken.

Maybe the error I posted is only a consequence of the above.

There was an update of this file today morning at 6 o'clock.

Just another guy working that late?
Now it compiles. 
But surely my turbo sparc will take a while.
