More tests: the snapshot's boot.net can't load the 1.6.1 GENERIC either
(it ends with "Program terminated").
The 1.6.1 boot.net can load the 1.6.1 GENERIC, but the snapshot GENERIC
dies in the same way as with the snapshot boot.net
