Off the wall thinking.... is there a prom setting that is used to determine 
the keyboard
type?  I was playing around on a SparcStation
300 VME machine, and I put a type 5 keyboard on
and it still said type 4 on boot, and the keys
did not work right.  Would the LX have the same
prom keyboard type bit set somewhere?  Anyone
know if there is an eeprom location that needs
twiddling?  Maybe something like that could be
affecting how my keyboard is being interpreted.
