4MB or 16MB PS/2 Modules, 70ns fast page with some kind of parity 
should be fine.

Definitely the SPARC, they have VERY good networking hardware.
I have a 110MHz SS10 clone doing my pppoe/ip_filter stuff (under 
Solaris...), the CPU load is barely noticeable so the Classic should do 
fine. It has just one NIC but fortunately my switch ( SkyLink 8 port 10
/100 ) recognizes the DSL traffic ( and doesn't broadcast it ) so I 
don't need one.
