Way back when, when the Adaptec 2940, NCR, and other controllers came out
for Intel boxes, a lot of people had problems with tagged queueing. There 
is probably a lot of history on the subject in the old i386 archives.

There does seem to be a tendency to put the i386 release above others like
sparc. This may be because most developers are developing NetBSD on i386
boxes.
