Gentlefolk:

I attempted to install NetBSD sparc on a Sparcstation IPC using the CD-ROM
that I burned from a downloaded NetBSD 1.5.2 ISO image. The directions for
booting with the OpenBoot1 PROM on your install-notes document suggests
using the command

boot sd(0,30,)

This failed on the Sparcstation IPC -- the CD-ROM device was not recognized.
However, I had success using

boot sd(0,6,1)

with a SUN model 411 as well as with a DEC RRD43-DA CD-ROM drive.
Perhaps the IPC boot command recognizes decimal.

Thanks so much for your continued fine efforts!
Best regards,
Paul H.
