The IPX is a Sun4c, and the Classic is a Sun4m. Sun will be supporting
Sun4m for at least one more release of Solaris, though if you're running
NetBSD, you probably don't care about that. The Classic should be a lot
faster, but I wouldn't use either of them for graphical work.

having run both IPX and classics a lot, i have to say that their
speed is very very similar. the faster sbus & cpu mhz are offset
by the insanely small cache. definately a classic is not a "lot
faster". however, i've had none of the weird & strange crashes
i had with an IPX (any sun4c for that matter) have never occured
since i started accumlating & using classics. :) the built-in
twisted-pair is also nice.
