	There are (I'm pretty sure) no requirements for them to be
	on any particular filsystems. I don't have a sparc build
	to hand, but for a shark and sparc64 builds (from i386):

	    163592  shark/destdir
	    55830   shark/release
	    23892   shark/tooldir
	    194994  sparc64/destdir
	    64564   sparc64/release
	    26566   sparc64/tooldir
