Related: when I halt my SS2, I get the OBP message 'type help for help'
and the 'ok' prompt but the console is locked out - keypresses have no
effect (this is on serial console). If I need the OBP I have to reboot
rather than halt and hit break during the memory test.

This doesn't happen with the other bsd's - obsd & sunos.

Is it still a kernel hack to disable access to OBP while the kernel is up?
