Nevermind, i answered my own question. It appears somewhere in the lifetime
of this poor IPX it was robbed of it's FPU through replacement of the CPU.
Oh well, ill just order another IPX.

Thanks again,
Jonathan

Subject: NetBSD 1.5.2 on IPX boot problems...

Hi everyone,

Im trying to install NetBSD 1.5.2 on my Sparc IPX via netboot. Everything
goes fine, up until right after dma0 is loaded, then i get the error...
---

dma0 at sbus0 slot 0 offset 0x400000data fault: pc=0xf01f3d48 addr=0x0
ser=8080<WRITE,INVAL>
panic: kernel fault
halted

Program terminated

---
I also tried to install OpenBSD on it, and it loaded the kernel fine, but
when it got down to install it started getting problems with floating point
exceptions. This almost makes me think it is a problem with the hardware,
except that it runs SunOS 4.1.3_U1 perfectly without a flaw.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jonathan
