NetBSD 1.5, KDE 1.1.2, kmail 1.0.28 on sparc (sun4).  Kmail launches fine,
checks mail, gets authenticated, says getting mail, instantly bombs with a
"** Kmail got signal 11" to the console and dies.

Why? Is there a better, working emailer I should try?  I'm set on a gui
model....
