I wouldn't do this, if I were you.  Those 3GXs do not like to be left
on all the time.  I loved mine, and it cooked itself to death.  Do a
quick search -- you'll find lots of 'net lore about these things and
their overheating problems. 

That's not even to comment on the viability of 100BaseT network
drivers, which I'll let others on this list comment on.

I'd buy a Sparc 5 on Ebay for $75 or so, if I were looking for a
router...
