if no keyboard is present it will automatically drop into serial A as
input/output device

if you are able to setup netboot server, you could prepare a netbsd system
with mount_ufs included. or just copy mount_ufs sparc binary to any floppy
and mount+copy it after booting from floppies.
mount_ufs /dev/sd0a /mnt (or anything you want) should work perfectly

for console login add these lines to your /etc/inittab (if they are not
there already):
sc:234:respawn:/usr/lib/saf/sac -t 300
co:234:respawn:/usr/lib/saf/ttymon -g -h -p "`uname -n` console login: " -T sun -d /dev/console -l console -m ldterm,ttcompat
this should be sufficient
for network access just edit /etc/hosts and /etc/hostname.le0 as hubert said
before. you will maybe want to setup default gateway too, just put ip address
of your router into /etc/defaultoruter.
i hope this helps,
