(sans the `#define DWARF2_UNWIND_INFO 0'.)  i've also verified and asked
that this patch also be applied to the gcc 3.0 branch (and thus to appear
in gcc 3.0.1).

also, i have submitted my sparc-netbsdelf description, which also works
with gcc 3.0 branch (neither i386 or sparc require any modifications
from my posted patches):
