Hi,

I can reproduce the following on two NetBSD/sparc-1.5 machines:

I log in remotely and try to paste a large text in pine. pine does
no longer respond after I tried this.

The interesting thing is: When I (as the user who was running the pine)
log in at that machine both the pine and the bash it was running in don't
react to a "kill -9".

These processes run happily even two weeks later. Is there a way to kill
them (besides rebooting the machine)?

Thanks
Adrian
