	Can't say about the SS1, but certainly doable for later systems
	like the Ultra1 I did the other day.  http://docs.sun.com is a very
	handy site.  I searched for OBP I think and soon found the page I 
	needed.

	Actually, now I think of it, you'll likely need a new ROM for your 
	SS1, since I did for my SS20 to handle hypersparc cpu's.

I recall that Ultra 1 machines were the first Sun machines
with flash PROMs.
