I had a brief burst of enthusiasm trying to get this card to work
about a year ago (with 1.4.something,) and ever since then haven't
found 5 minutes of spare time to actually get on with it <sniff>.
If anyone wants the source I've got - assuming I can still find it [1] -
for hints and/or a guide how not to do it,
send me an email to tim@snowgoons.fsnet.co.uk and I'll send it on
when I next pick up my home email!!
I had the thing detected and attaching OK, but could never get it to
actually squirt any bits down the ports. Things were complicated
slightly by the fact that it uses the same interrupt as the audio
device (in my Sparc Classic, at least,) and the audio device isn't
at all keen on sharing its interrupts...
Cheers,
Tim.
(I think it was the aforementioned OpenBSD driver I was working from,
FWIW.)
[1] Word to the wise - don't bother using LFS under 1.4.something unless
you are a masochist; I've lost count of the number of times I've
had to rebuild my homes partition. Why I continue to use it I have
no idea ;-).
