Hi,

I rescued a 330 from campus surplus(the original hard drive had
failed). Anyway, I was able to install SunOS 4 from CD on it without a
problem, but I cannot get NetBSD 1.4.2 or the latest 1.5 ALPHA_2 to boot.
NetBSD 1.5 dies at boot time with this error:

>b sr(,,3)
Boot: sr(0,30,3)
>>NetBSD/sparc Secondary Boot, Revision 1.9

NetBSD 1.4.2, OTH, dies with this error:

>b sr(,,3)
Boot: sr(0,30,3)

I realize that the install instructions say to switch over to the OpenBoot
prompt, but this machine does not seem to have it. Its ROM Rev. 3.0.3.

Reading through the archives, I noticed that there are problems on the
Sun4 architecture with Boot Loader Rev. 1.9 and that NetBSD 1.4.1 with
version 1.8 of the Boot Loader might work, I'll probably try that next.
Getting a bit tired of burning CDs though =)
