Everything is working -- I'm typing this email from this very
machine.

1.4.2 worked just fine, actually -- we just had to rearrange the SIMMs.
For anyone else who's curious about this, the slots in a Ross sparc 20
clone go like: 0 4 1 5 2 6 3 7, going top to bottom, looking down on
the case in its conventional orientation.
