How hard would it be to build a snapshot of NetBSD/sparc on an ultra 1 running solaris 2.8? I'd like for those make builds to run a little faster than what I can get on a 70mhz sparc 5.
kernels aren't much of an issue, but the entire world is not that simple.
it is possible and most of the necessary changes are in -current, but it
requires lots of help (particularly on non-netbsd hosts).
you essentially want to build a normal cross compile suite and use that.
