  You're saying the SS10 was shipping in 1990?  That doesn't jibe with
my memory of history.

  Oh of course not...the /170 is a very nice machine.  Again, though,
due to much more than just the clock rate.  The ss5/170 uses a different
processor (TurboSPARC, as I'm sure you know) as well as has a 512kb L2
cache...which the /70, /85, and /110 lack.

  Damn shame there weren't more /170s made.  I'd like to get my hands
on a few of them.
