Hello... Got in interesting question here.

I'm running 1.4.2 on a Sparc 5 and yesterday I installed a 2nd lance sbus card, so that's le1. Anyway, on boot I see:

ledma0 at sbus0 slot 5 offset 0x8400010: rev 2
le0 at ledma0 slot 5 offset 0x8c00000 level 6: address 08:00:20:1f:e3:85
le0: 8 receive buffers, 2 transmit buffers
power-management at sbus0 slot 4 offset 0xa000000 not configured
audiocs0 at sbus0 slot 4 offset 0xc000000 level 9: CS4231
audio0 at audiocs0: full duplex
afx-misc at sbus0 slot 4 offset 0xe000000 not configured
le1 at sbus0 slot 3 offset 0xc00000 level 7: address 08:00:20:1f:e3:85
le1: 8 receive buffers, 2 transmit buffers

As you can see, it identifies the hardware addresses as the same for both these cards. This does cause a bit of a problem. Anyway, is this a software issue or are my ethernet adapters throughly fuct?

Thanks,

cc
