Hi,

For some reason, I get plenty of the following message flowing on 
the console during kernel compile:

SENSE KEY: Media Error
INFO FIELD: 1632103
ASC/ASCQ: Unrecovered Read Error
FRU CODE: 0xd0
SKSV: Actual Retry Count: 41

I'm suspecting the hardrive days are numbered.

P.S. I just bought my SS2 w/o any manuals yesterday and obviously 
very newbie to this machine.
